Canalis KT is designed for high power transport and distribution from 800A to 5000A. Its high degree of protection (IP55) protects it against water projections, sprinklers and dust. Its compact design and robustness (IK08) mean it can be used in industrial applications, shopping centres, tertiary buildings and infrastructures.
Technical characteristics:
Benefits
Modular and upgradeable system
Quick and easy assembly
Safety
A fool-proofed system avoids a unit being installed or removed under load
Live parts are totally inaccessible
Excellent contacts: a life time guarantee
Halogen free: not emission of any fumes or toxic gases in the event of fire
High protection index IP 55 for all types of buildings
Dismantled, re-used and entirely recyclable
Applications
Industrial buildings: industrial sites, workshops, farm buildings, logistic centres, etc.
Commercial/Tertiary buildings: shopping malls, hyper/supermarkets, hotels, elderly people's homes, technical schools, sports rooms
Critical buildings: data centres, hospitals
Marine: cruise liners
PD bus system has been designed with the purpose of transmission and distribution of high voltage electric power in the range of the rated current from 1000 to 6000 A. The compact design and low impedance allow reducing the voltage drop and power loss making the PD systems suitable for the power transmission over long distances.
Due to the use of the corresponding connections the buses can be connected to transformers, generators and switchgears. Direct segments of the PD system are made in two versions: distribution and transmission. Distribution segments are designed for the distribution of electricity and equipped with branch-off sockets. Transmission segments having no junction sockets are used, for example, for the transformer connection to the distribution device. |
The design of the PD bus system prevents air circulation inside its case and thus prevents the spread of fire. This system does not require the use of internal fire-resistant protective barriers. The system uses elements made of self-extinguishing plastic.
